I'm coming soon!!!

In a few days, I will be zooming through the air on Alaska Airlines heading from home to Seattle where I will get to spend the day in Seattle with my girls before we pick up my danish son, Jesper. He came to our home when he was 14 years old and soon became part of our family. He has made it for family events (weddings, anniversaries, birthdays) and even stayed with us while he was studying at UCSD. I will pack my grandmother bag with lots of surprises and some of the girls favorite books. Their mom asks, "Aren't you tired of reading the same books over and over again?" Never!!! Have the sock basket, ready, Coraly!! Grandmother is coming!!!!

How does a grandmother who lives in Southern California deal with the fact that her granddaughters are so far away in Washington?? Well, I have never been on an airplane as much as I have been in these past 3 years! It is worth every penny to spend time with these girls. Skype has also been a wonderful invention. I can read bedtime stories to the girls, ask them about their day, and give hugs and kisses over the computer. Cell phones have been a huge blessing, too. Using the same wireless company, we can talk to each other just about any time we want to. I only saw my grandparents once every few years but I always knew they loved me and prayed for me. I want Layne and Maisen to know that their CA grandmother thinks of them often and loves them even more!!! Little Nicholas is also in my heart. We will meet someday in heaven.

"Jesus loves my little children....all my children in my heart....Layne and Maisen, Nicholas....these are children who I must....give them to the Father every day!!"
